Regression Analysis Uses in Appraisal

Target Audience: Appraisers

This seminar has been developed to introduce appraisers to the concepts and use of regression analysis and the application of regression analysis to appraisal uses. The seminar uses case studies using both assumed and real data sets to develop appraiser skills using regression in agricultural valuation. Basic statistics and hypothesis testing are introduced and developed. Students will gain knowledge of regression analysis through lectures, classroom discussion and hands-on training using data from real appraisal problems in guided, practice regressions. Dummy dependent variables are introduced to expose appraisers to their application and use.
